Instructions for use and care of the diabetic shoes can be found on the QR code label on the shoe or on the website as in the description below.
The product range is specifically designed for people with diabetic polyneuropathy with pronounced neuropathy (loss of sensitivity) and pronounced angiopathy (circulatory disorders) associated with existing or healed ulcers and/or other mechanical irritations leading to regional pressure peaks.

About MyFoot
All MyFoot diabetes shoes are handmade in Portugal. Each pair is carefully designed to provide maximum support and perfectly support the natural shape of your foot. We offer shoemakers and doctors a choice from our wide range of size and width factors. In addition, we can customize each shoe and create exactly what you specifically need.
Materials
Upper: Leather, made from cowhide and calf skins. Microfiber-based synthetic material.
Lining: Diabetic fabric. In all linings, the number of seams has been reduced to a minimum to avoid pressure points and ensure a soft, comfortable fit.
Sole: Depending on the model, made of EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate), rubber or polyurethane (PU).
All materials come from suppliers within the European Union and comply with the applicable legal requirements.

Instructions for use
MyFoot shoes are dispensed to the end user exclusively by qualified professionals. Inform your shoemaker or doctor of the intended use and expected frequency of use when ordering.
Remove paper fillers from the shoes if necessary. Check the inside of the shoes for foreign objects.
Always use a shoehorn when putting on the shoes. This will prevent wrinkles in the lining and crushing the heel counter.
Pull the laces or Velcro fasteners evenly over the foot to ensure a perfect fit and prevent the foot from slipping in the shoe.
When closing the shoes, make sure the tongue of the shoe is positioned correctly to avoid discomfort or pain.
Open all fasteners completely before removing the shoes so that you can easily slip out of each shoe. This will help to maintain the original fit of the shoes.

Care instructions
Before first use, treat the outside of the shoes with a waterproofing spray to protect them from moisture and dirt.
It is recommended to clean dirty shoes immediately after use.
To clean, only use lukewarm water (max. 30 degrees Celsius) and a soft sponge. MyFoot Diabestes shoes are not machine washable.
Let wet shoes dry at room temperature. Never place them in the immediate vicinity of a heat source.
Shoe trees can help to maintain the shape of the shoes. Alternatively, you can also stuff the shoes with crumpled paper.
It is recommended to clean dirty shoes immediately after use.

Always adjust the laces or Velcro fasteners when you put on your shoes. Do not pull the laces or fasteners too tight as this can impair blood circulation. Shoes that are tied too loosely, on the other hand, can increase the risk of falls.
Remember that wet surfaces, snow and ice can increase the risk of slipping.
Your shoes have been custom-made according to your specific measurements and correction needs. They cannot be passed on to other users.
Never wear the shoes without your custom-made insoles. Only with an insole will the shoes provide their intended functionality.
